Female ejaculate is produced in very similar glands (Skene's glands on the picture) that produce male ejaculate which makes up for ~95% volume of the liquid during the expulsion phase of male orgasm, the other ~5% being the actual semen produced in testicles and added to the mixture right before the ejaculation (and it's these 5% that have the major effect on the scent of male ejaculate: those famous "bleach/ammonia/chlorine" scents).
You can taste your pre-ejaculate during masturbation (which doesn't contain semen) to get the general idea of how female ejaculate tastes (if never tasted a female ejaculate before, or not sure if it was it).
Overall, it's a thick, salty, and otherwise mostly tasteless liquid.
Naturally, the same rules about the taste deviation apply as with male ejaculate: diet, age, hormonal condition, health, etc.
Additionally, in case of a female ejaculation, the taste will be also affected by the vaginal lubricant produced in Bartholin's glands.
P.S. The popular misconception about squirting is also related to this topic. It is mostly influenced by the porn media, and the myth is that squirting is something related to urinal release (peeing), while in fact the real squirting is the expulsion of ejaculate from Skene's glands. However, since there is no pressure-accumulating anatomy like in a male body, this ejaculation looks like nothing 'explosive' but rather intensive oozing, which doesn't look as exciting as peeing for the purpose of porn/entertainment
