Pontiac Trans-Am Convertible (NCE) (1979 - 1981)
National Coach Engineering of Michigan (NCE), in cooperation with Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors, converted 250 T-Top Trans Ams into convertibles in 1979, all sold by Pontiac dealers. Total production is rumored to number around 500 units from 1979 to 1981.
Pontiac Trans Am “Macho T/A” (DKM) T-Top (1977 - 1979)
Dennis and Kyle Mecham Design and Performance (DKM) in Glendale Arizona, offspring of Phoenix area dealership Mecham Pontiac, built 27 Macho T/A cars in 1977, 204 in 1978, 96* in 1979. The Macho T/A was a marketable car, with 325 units sold between 1977 and 1979.
