Zum Weltfriedenstag heute eine Gruppe, die anders heißt, als sie war. 'War' im Ursprung schon in den 60s und den 70s/80s erfolgreich, machte Funk/Rock/Soul und auch Jazz-Fusions. Das Album 'Deliver The Word' von 1973 ist wunderschön gestaltet. Die schwarze Lederoptik erinnert an alte Bibeln mit silbernen Konturen. Der Mensch in Orange wandert in der Wüste. Die Rückseite ist spiegelverkehrt und zeigt den Menschen in 'Blau' im Mondschein. Ich liebe dieses Album. 1977 noch einmal auf dem Album 'Platinum Jazz' - das gar nicht erfolgreich war, aber sehr schöne, überraschende Stücke bietet. 'Deliver The Word'

Wundervoll, Isa! Die Platte habe ich seinerzeit rauf und runter gehört. Rothers Platten sind in schönen Vinylboxen wiederveröffentlicht worden.
