Donauinsel - local information please
I am planning to visit Wien in July, and was thinking of going to the Donauinsel to enjoy the sun (I hope!) in a natural way - my first time like this! I know there are 2 FKK areas ... north and south of the island - which one is better? And, of course, what kind of 'fun' is there? - is it different for each area or is one better to meet with other people? Any local knowledge would be very welcome. only gay fun. heteros sometimes drive around in cars but that is mostly pointless. FKK south of Steinspornbrücke on the Raffineriestraße.
the FKK is mixed gender, but that is mostly only naked suntanning, nothing sexual.

At the peninsula in the west…..there are no families.

Thank you for your replies! So it seems like South is best .... and google shows some nice places to eat there as well - which is very good! Now my only fear is that a part of me that doesn't usually see the sun could sizzle like a wurst!!!
